Constant force springs
Constant force springs are the ideal method to complete electrical continuty across the joint on armoured power cables for straight or branch joints.
Using constant force springs is an easy and reliable way to earth the cable joint as they constantly exert pressure on the earth braid to achieve a reliable continuity.
All our springs are manufactured from Stainless Steel to BS EN 10151, Grade 1.4310

- The spring can be applied by hand without any tools

- The sheating needs to be positioned under and on top of the first turn
- In a cable joint, the constant force spring is protected by self fusing insulation tape
